About HomeFree

Why We Exist

In 2018, Brian and his wife bought their first home and embarked on a year-long saga with multiple contractors and handymen to take care of a few simple projects. He was shocked that such a disjointed, chaotic, and non-transparent experience could exist relative to the money, time, and sanity that’s at stake for homeowners. After 4 years of projects and one major renovation, he saw an opportunity to build a home services company that made it easier for busy families to manage and improve their homes. His vision was to consolidate and streamline the many services required for maintenance, updates, and improvements while delivering them through a modern, white-glove customer experience. Core to that idea was his commitment to building teams composed exclusively of military veterans, bringing the integrity, trust, and efficiency of the military to home improvement while creating career opportunities for those who served our country. In 2022, he started HomeFree with a mission: Disrupt the home improvement space with a company that puts homeowners first, delivers exceptional customer experiences at scale, and closes the skilled labor gap with rewarding careers for veterans.
